Separate crushed glass into useful size fractions.
A trommel is a rotating screen that separates processed glass by size. Positioned after crushing, it helps divide finer glass material from larger pieces so that each fraction can be collected separately. Screening connects the crusher's output with the particle-size requirements of the next process, whether the material is being prepared for aggregate, glass sand or further treatment.
The screen openings, output fractions, feed arrangement and collection points are specified around the complete line. The manufacturer's CR002 configuration includes a conveyor and three-way trommel; other arrangements are discussed around the equipment and site. Bring your intended glass grades and end uses into the enquiry so that crushing, transfer and screening can be planned together.
