A new life.
A solid foundation.
Pavers & concrete
A pile of mixed glass does not have to be the end of the story. With the right preparation, selected fractions can become an ingredient in concrete products — bringing a local waste stream into a new material cycle.

Start with the product you want to make.
A paving block, a decorative tile and a structural concrete element have different requirements. Decide on the intended product before specifying a crusher or a screen. The finished product determines the acceptable particle sizes, glass content, surface finish and testing programme.
Prepare the glass for a consistent mix.
Mixed-colour container glass can be considered where colour separation adds little value to the finished product. Remove unwanted materials, control the grading and develop a repeatable feedstock. Crushing is one step; screening, cleaning and quality checks connect that step to a usable aggregate.
Prove the mix before scaling.
A concrete mix must be designed and tested for its intended use. Strength, durability, water absorption and the potential for alkali–silica reaction need appropriate assessment. A material photograph is inspiration; a tested formulation is what turns the idea into a reliable product.
Good questions.
Useful answers.
Can mixed-colour glass be used?
It can be investigated for selected cement-based products. The mix design and acceptance criteria matter more than achieving a single glass colour.
Does a crusher produce finished pavers?
No. A crusher prepares glass. Mixing, moulding, curing and product testing are separate steps in making concrete pavers.
